2016 Goals and Aspirations.

West Yorkshire, UK 01/01/2016

Oh, 2015, where the hell did you go?

It's hard to believe 2015 is finally over. Some fifty-two weeks have passed in the blink of an eye and now I sit here by the fire of my parent's house, nursing a painful New Years Eve hangover and irrationally bawling at Tangled. Such a bittersweet end that can surely only be cured by eating the entirety of my Chrismas chocolate.

It's been a mixture of a year, and a struggle to say the least. Thankfully, the good times have far outweighed the bad and I can say I've not too bad for myself.

Yet there is always room for improvement, particularly for a girl who considers a Big Mac to be a wholly substantial meal. So I thought I would share my hopes & dreams for the coming year and if I accomplish them, great. If not, I guess they'll be seeing you again in 2017.

  1. Get organised (Quite the task for someone as intrinsically unorganised as myself but an unfortunate necessity for modern life)
  2. Read something worthwhile every day
  3. Begin project 365
  4. Develop some sort of consistent fitness regime
  5. Graduate with a 2.1 or above
  6. Get a job, or at least, an internship
  7. Watch all of the greatest films of all time
  8. Start a side business
  9. Practice more self-care
  10. Do more charity work
  11. Be consistent and work on this blog
  12. Get more journalistic exposure
  13. Learn blog design code
  14. Try and cut out meat
  15. Have my own flat
  16. Stop wasting money
  17. Travel Europe
  18. See more live music
  19. Complete the 52 weeks of gratitude challenge
  20. Get into pilates
  21. Conquer my fear of public speaking
  22. Eat less crap and more vegetables
  23. Take a driving lesson
  24. Be kinder to myself
  25. Learn to sew
  26. Practice graphic design
  27. Tell people I love them more
  28. &&

  1. Sound like a lot of exciting things to have a go at doing this year! I have to agree with some of them, although I'm trying to keep goals to a minimum, purely so anything I do which is a step in the right direction, makes me feel like a great achievement, hahaha.

    1. See I've gone the opposite so that if I manage any of them I can be like "WOW GO ME IM FAB". It's defo more of a 'Life goals' than 2016 though, I 100% won't manage more than 5 hahah xx
